Black Friday Deals Roundup 2020 for Online Entrepreneurs | ClairePaniccia.com

‘Tis the season for our inboxes and social media feeds to be bombarded with ALL THE DEALS.

While Black Friday isn't my favorite in terms of inbox management, I do love it for saving money on things I've been wanting to purchase but couldn't get myself to bite the bullet on.

I also know that 2020 has been a bit of a ball buster in terms of budget for a lot of us (myself included).

So I did my research ahead of time, and earmarked the ones that I think are the most heart-eyes 😍 for online business owners and solopreneurs.

Full transparency: some of these are affiliate links (which means I'll get a small kickback at no extra cost to you), but I wouldn't be recommending them if I didn't think they were dope. Most are even things I've bought before or am planning on buying this year!

My Black Friday Offer

I'm gonna start with my own Black Friday offer because that's how excited I am about it!

(Also, I'd be crazy to not do that on my own site, right?…)

SEOtastic Black Friday Bundle

Dates: Now through to midnight EST the evening of Monday November 30th.

Total cost if you bought everything separately: $533
Special Black Friday Price: $200

This bundle includes every SEO course and infoproduct I've EVER MADE about SEO, and the cool part is that each one covers each different aspect of SEO!

If you hear “SEO” and all you can think is “Aaaahhhuuuummm, yeah I know SEO is imporant, but errrmm what/how/when/why???”… this is for you.

Black Friday Deals for Online Entrepreneurs that I'm THE MOST Excited About

Basil & Bark Template Shop

Basil & Bark Lifetime Membership Mockup

DATES: Friday, November 20th at midnight EST to Monday, November 30th at midnight EST.
Deal: 40% off all individual templates, and last chance to get the Lifetime Membership at its current price before the price goes up on December 1st.

Ever since I started using Basil & Bark templates, I’ve been getting so many compliments on how pretty and branded my IG Stories and posts have been.

But it’s not just my Instagram that’s leveled up.

I use Basil & Bark for my Secret Menu (a series of services only available to past and current clients), my SEOtastic Flowchart & Checklist freebie, AND my Step-by-Step Guide to Optimizing Your SEOtastic Content ebook.

I even use the social media graphics as illustrations in my blog posts.

Venn diagram titled: Your strategic blog should have... circle 1: SEOtastic posts. Circle 2: conversion nurturing posts. Circle 3: community building posts
This is from a Basil & Bark Instagram template, and I've totally used it in a blog post

What used to be a total pain in the a$$ (making pdfs and graphics) that took freaking forever is now SO SIMPLE.

And it’s not just design.

I never would have thought of creating a IG Stories “sales page” for my Conquer Your Content Calendar launch, but I can directly attribute at least one new client to that series of Stories directly (and it’s probably more).

And it only took me mayyyybe a couple hours to create, and I used them over and over in that launch.

Yeah. I can say FOR SURE that the Lifetime Membership to Basil & Bark’s template collection was hands down the best purchase I made this year.

For Black Friday (well, more than just Black Friday, the sale is 11/20-11/30!), Alysha (the mastermind designer behind Basil & Bark) is doing a MAJOR sale: 40% off all individual templates!!!

And if you fall in love (like I did), and decide to get the Lifetime Membership (which I highly recommend), you’ll be able to subtract the cost of the first template you bought from the one-time price of the Lifetime Membership.

(The total value of everything that's currently inside of the Lifetime Membership is now $900, and she’s constantly adding new stuff to it! The price for this beauty is going up immediately after the sale, so NOW IS THE TIME!!!)

Specific Templates I Love:

The Contract Shop

Save 40% on contract templates at The Contract Shop

Dates: starts midnight ET on Thanksgiving (11/26) through midnight ET Monday night (11/30)
Deal: 40% off all templates and bundles, 30% off workbooks, and 20% off courses

Did you know that without a privacy policy, you could be breaking federal law? And if you don't have one with GDPR provisions, you could be breaking an international law?! When you are transparent with your readers like this, it builds their trust in your website, opinions, products and services.

Save yourself hours of head-scratching and staring at a blank Google Doc (or Frankensteining various free templates from the internet) and use the templates from The Contract Shop to keep your site legally legit.

I use this for my own website and it's super easy to customize and add to your website or blog.

Plus now there’s one for your online course too! (I’m legit planning on buying this this year)

And if you work with clients, and your contract is a Frankensteined mess of free contract templates from the internet too…. Check out her contract templates too. She’s got one for so many different industries, so you’re bound to find one that will work for your biz.

Products I suggest:

Black Friday Deals for WordPress Users that I Highly Recommend

Elementor Pro

Dates: Black Friday through Cyber Monday
Deal: 30% off all Pro plans

I’m legit going to buy this.

I love Elementor for building beautiful custom pages on my site. Their free plugin is mind-blowingly good.

But lately I’ve been wanting to take that gorgeous customizability across my whole site and make it more uniform (it’s been a bit Frankenstein the last couple years and it’s time for an upgrade).

For less than $40, how could I say no??

PRO TIP: My suggestion for anyone building a WordPress site who wants a drag and drop builder, use Elementor for all your Pages, and Gutenberg for your Posts.

That way, if you end up changing themes or working with a designer on a custom site design further down the road, your massive backlog of blog posts won’t be screwed up and need redesigning individually.

ShortPixel

Dates: Black Friday through Cyber Monday
Deal: Receive 300% more credits for any purchase

ShortPixel is what I use to compress all the images on my site (which is super important for pagespeed).

Compressing images is one of the first things I suggest to my clients who need to improve their pagespeed without overhauling their sites.

There are some free image compression plugins out there, but they’re not as effective (they don’t compress as much per image).

After you purchase credits with Shortpixel, you add the plugin to your site, and it starts compressing all the images that are already on your site, AND will automatically compress any new images you add.

And if you run out of credits, you just log in and buy some more. Couldn’t be simpler.

Shortpixel is already extremely affordable ($9.99 for 10,000 images compressed? Heck yes!)

But for Black Friday, it’s 3x that ($9.99 for 30,000 images compressed??? 😱 🤯 )

It’s kind of a no brainer.

I already have a monthly paid account with ShortPixel, so you know I'm putting my money where my mouth is.

WP Rocket

wp rocket logo

Dates: Tuesday November 24th through Wednesday December 2nd.
Deal: 30% off (whether you’re new or upgrading)

WP Rocket is a premium caching plugin that does a whole lot more than caching.

Caching is super important for your pagespeed.

Sure, you could use a free caching plugin, but you’d also need free plugins to minify your html and CSS, defer Javascript parsing, Gzip compression, and lazyloading your images.

And that’s a totally fine option when you’re bootstrapping your new site (I’ve even got recommendations for each one in my Improve Your Pagespeed without Crazy Tech Skills workshop).

But if you can use one plugin to do the job of a whole bunch of plugins, it’s always a good idea.

This is one I’m also considering buying.

Thirsty Affiliates

thirsty affiliates logo

Dates: Monday, November 23, 2020 and continue until Friday, December 6, 2020 at midnight (MST)
Deal: Up to $70 off ThirstyAffiliates with Code BF2020

This is one for those who use a lot of affiliate links to lots of different products, like blogger-bloggers and other content creators (whose business is their content, rather than the content being a marketing channel for the business).

Thirsty Affiliates is an affiliate link management plugin, and it makes it so that you don't have to track down or re-create an affiliate link for the thing you're recommending each time you mention it.

Instead, you'll be able to link to it just like any other link.

The free version works perfectly for those of us who affiliate links aren't a major portion of our revenue, and that's what I use.

But if you find yourself juggling a spreadsheet, memberships to 8 different affiliate networks, and link to products in more than half your content, the extra features in the paid version will probably be worth it (especially since it's not even a subscription).
